About MollyFotography / Molly Parker
I got my first camera when I was 14. That same year I took a photography class and shot my first roll of film, processed it myself and printed from it in the darkroom. I've been hooked ever since.
In 2003, I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Photography. After graduation I moved from my home state of Georgia to Washington D.C. to intern at the Smithsonian Institute's National Museum of American History. I spent nine months working in the photography department's basement office shooting for the archives and editing.
I was lucky enough to live in St John, USVI for two years and meet Tom, my husband. We moved to Colorado in 2008 where I started Mfoto. There I photographed weddings, portraits and a lot of live music. We are now SoWal locals in the 30A area of Florida and it feels so good to be by the water again!
I specialize in photographing weddings, portraits and events in the Georgia/Florida area, but have been lucky enough to shoot weddings in Colorado, New York and Chicago. Capturing the day's little moments is what I live for. The beach, the garden, your living room or in the backyard. These places where you feel most alive and comfortable - this is where I want to document your life.
Photographing life as much as possible is what I enjoy most ...my husband, our son Arlo, our dogs + chickens - the little details that surround me. If you'd like for me to capture the little details of your day or event give me a ring and let's chat about what I do. Thanks for stopping by!
